Susan G. Englert
Susan is a magna cum laude graduate of the University of Maine at Orono, earning a BA degree in Journalism with concentration in advertising and print design, and studio art. A lifelong artist, Susan combined her love of art and print design with writing, editing and photography, creating a career of helping businesses in all these integral areas.
Over the last 40 years, Susan has been owner of Bradstreet Englert Creative (formerly Sandpiper Artisans) for 9 years; owner of Graphic Manoeuvres, a Concord, NH graphic design firm for 12 years; a political designer—at one time designing many mailers and brochures for Ron Paul’s presidential campaign bid in 2007-08; Adjunct Lecturer in graphic design at Plymouth State University (NH); and instructor of Adobe software courses, branding, and portfolio building for a continuing education college in Manchester, NH.
She was also an award-winning editor and designer of the NH Episcopal News (a diocesan newspaper), and former designer for the New Hampshire Bar News semimonthly newspaper.
Her work in the studio and commercially has earned her many awards through the years. She is a Rotary Club Paul Harris Fellow, and an active member in BNI leadership since 2012, currently serving as president of her chapter in the Upstate region of South Carolina. She has clients in several states, with much of the concentration in New England where she lived for most of her life. She is a 2015 transplant to Greenville, South Carolina, and loving the business and life opportunities found in this beautiful city.
Susan enjoys hanging out with her husband, Steve, a good murder mystery, watching hockey, exploring new restaurants, writing, crafting, comfy slippers, a hot cup of coffee, and her dog at her feet (better yet, on her lap).
Tara Catalina
Tara graduated with honors in 2011 from the University of New York at Fredonia, located just outside Buffalo, NY. She received her bachelor’s degree in Visual Arts & New Media along with a minor in Communications. Most of her life was spent drawing on anything she could find and creating masterpieces in Paint, until the magic of Photoshop came along. This discovery started an exciting journey into the creative world of graphic design and photography.
While still located in NY, Tara jumped right into multiple internships which eventually landed her a job in Albany, NY working for a PPE company called Protective Industrial Products. At PIP she quickly became the lead of her custom imprinting department and completely changed the game for all their custom artwork and screen printing requests. In 2016 she became tired of the cold weather and relocated to Charleston, SC where she worked for Red Horse Screen Printing creating custom T-shirt designs to be sold at Palmetto Moon. She was also employed by Boom Advertising where she worked closely with real-estate companies creating new brands and revamping old ones.
Now located in Greenville, SC she spends most of her time outdoors hiking Appalachian trails and enjoying a nice entree and cocktail on a patio in downtown Greenville. She is highly proficient in Adobe Illustrator and inDesign and continues to improve her skills in the rest of the Adobe creative suite. She loves branding, logo design, publication design and continuously helping others grow while she does the same.
